ABOUT BNESF

The Bulgarian National Esports Federation was founded in 2022 in Sofia by gaming club representatives, team owners, managers, entrepreneurs, coaches, players, and enthusiasts with over 10 years of experience in organizing and developing esports events nationwide.
 
We have organized over 100 events, including tournaments and leagues for various esports titles, national qualifiers for major international championships, show matches, promotional events and campaigns, workshops, invitational tournaments, press events, charity initiatives, and more.
 
We strive to provide a platform for the best players in our country to showcase their skills, while also developing esports in smaller local communities.

Our Mission

We have adopted a clear and structured mission, expressed through three core pillars:

Professionalize esports

  • Establishing the foundations of competitive gaming in Bulgaria;
  • Organizing clubs into national championships and competitions;
  • Monitoring and managing contracts and transfers;
  • Establishing clear regulations;
  • Creating and tracking an annual official events program.

Support Bulgarian players

  • Providing financial and administrative assistance to Bulgarian clubs and players;
  • Protecting players’ rights;
  • Supporting local esports initiatives.

Generate positive social impact

  • Introducing the general public to the beauty and magic of esports;
  • Raising awareness and identifying solutions for issues such as cyberbullying, drug and alcohol addiction, and online security.
